Promoting Russian Ideas in G8 - One of Russia’s Main Tasks at IMF Session - Kudrin
Washington, April 21 – RIA Novosti. At his press conference in Washington, Russian Finance Minister, Alexei Kudrin stated that promotion of Russia’s ideas in the Group of Eight would become one of the main tasks of the Russian delegation at IMF spring session.

“Promoting Russia’s ideas in the Group of Eight, in particular in such spheres as energy security, struggle against infectious diseases and development of educational processes, is the major topic now”, Kudrin said and added that Russia offered a number of initiatives on these issues.

According to the Minister, all these questions will be raised during the IMF meetings these days.

Spring session of IMF and World Bank managing bodies started in Washington on Friday and would continue till April 23.
