Kudrin anticipates the removal of formal restrictions on Russian Federation’s participation in the Financial G8

St. Petersburg, June 10. -- RIA Novosti. The Russian side started even more intensive work for integration into the Financial Group of Eight, finance minister of the Russian Federation, Alexei Kudrin, stated at the press conference in St. Petersburg summing up the results of the meeting of G-8 finance ministers.

Kudrin described the finance ministers’ work at the meeting as “highly intensive”.

The Russian finance minister emphasized that Russia had made “a significant step” towards its real integration into the Financial G8.

Kudrin added that he was confident that the formal restrictions on Russia’s participation in the Financial G8 would be removed in the future.
